Freudian white: a rant.

The British Conservative and Unionist Party is electing a new leader, and the field is now narrowed down to the final two candidates.

This new leader will also be the new British Prime Minister, so the election is quite important.

The two candidates, Jeremy Hunt and Boris Johnson, have been putting themselves about, and their opinions have been eagerly sought on every possible topic. One of these is, inevitably, immigration.

An answer from Jeremy Hunt has led to this tweet from a Member of Parliament representing the opposition Labour Party:

Asked about how he will address racism in the Conservative Party, Jeremy Hunt says his party must be “whiter than white”.

This Freudian slip tells us everything we need to know about the Tories’ failure to recognise the problem🤦🏾‍♂️
